MR. BERNARDO “JUNN” VERGARA JR.

Our judge from Baguio City is recognized as a pioneer and a respectable German Shepherd Dog breeder in the Philippines.

He has imported several german shepherd dogs from Germany since 1990. He is the owner of the top producer, Philippine Champion and Philippine Sieger VA1 Baer von Bann.

He started breeding and showing German Shepherd Dogs in 1989 under the kennel name “du Bergenie” and from his bitches he has more than one hundred litters as of this date. From these litters, he produced the most successful and highest rated local born dog Quartz du Bergenie, rated VA2 two times and multiple times Landesgruppen Sieger. He also produced VA Catja, Hera, Saskia, Brixi and Webber.

Junn is a former President of the German Shepherd Dog Federation of the Philippines (GSDF) and the Northern Luzon German Shepherd Dog Association (NLGSDA). He has judged several GSD shows in our country.
