STATEMENT REGARDING PCCI SHOW CAUSE LETTER.

This concerns the PCCI letter addressed to some of our members who are facing sanctions for participating in any of our events.

Our response:

  1. A) To members who are exclusively GSD owners: the sanctions are ineffectual because:

1. We already have our own dog registry, equipped to issue Certificates of Pedigree;

2. We are the only Philippine GSD federation recognized by the WUSV of Germany - hence your pedigree certificates carry far more value than any issued by PCCI;

3. Time to say NO to ever increasing PCCI fees. Our fees are consistently lower.

4. Our dog shows are better judged by more qualified and better known judges.

5. A prize won by your dog in any of our shows brings more value to your dogs than any won in any PCCI contest.

So, it is time to make a choice, one forced by PCCI: stay with us or stay with PCCI.

  1. B) To members who own GSD and other breeds:

  1. Consider registering your other breeds with other existing kennel and dog registration group - as some of our affected directors are prepared to do.

  1. Liberate yourselves from unreasonable rules, fees and other impositions by PCCI.

  1. The threatened sanctions for merely participating in other dog shows are unreasonable and may violate the PCCI By Laws.

  1. PCCI should not impose unreasonable restrictions on the property rights of owners. We love to exhibit and parade our dogs, wherever we may want, because we are proud of our dogs. Why punish us.

  1. The punitive action of PCCI against our members is intended to undermine the independence of GSDF in order to promote its own German Shepherd Club which very few want to patronize and after failing is now harassing our members.

  1. Our legal counsel can assist you in composing a response to the above actions of PCCI.
