Item 6)    Harmonization Procedure for worldwide breeding within the WUSV

6.1.      WUSV Breeding Program – Version 2019

Recommendation:

The delegates to the SV Federal Assembly in 2019 recommend by one abstention, unanimously that the WUSV delegates to the General Annual Assembly accept the proposal under consideration of the following modification:

Breed Shows – Allocation of breed rankings subject to dental status

Regulation for ranking VA: deletion of „no double teeth”; exchange for “Double premolars 1 possible“

Vote: The proposal is unanimously accepted by the delegates with no dissenting votes and no abstention.

In addition to the agenda it is unanimously decided to implement the evaluation VA within the WUSV in accordance with the criteria described from January 01st, 2020 on. The officiating judges are to be informed about the formalities and requirements prior to the events and competitions they are supposed to judge.

In order to award the title VA – Vorzüglich Auslese/ Excellent Selection the following minimum requirements have to be meet:

-       *DNA (registered or verified)

-       HD and ED: normal, almost normal or still admitted = fit for breeding

-       IPO 1 or IGP 1 or Sch H 1 or SV recognized examinations – for existing VA a transitional period until 2020 applies*

-       First Breed Survey examination with TSB pronounced

-       TSB pronounced, drops and releases on the occasion on the qualification trial

-       parents with breed survey and examination verified (KKL 1)

*according to its own country regulations

Vote: The proposal is unanimously accepted by the delegates with no dissenting votes and no abstention.
